Ed Nalbandian serves as the chief executive officer (CEO) for SPS. To ensure the company remains at the forefront of its industry, Ed plays an active role in directing strategic vision and growth initiatives. He works closely with the executive and leadership teams to address operational challenges and ensure SPS has the proper plan and organizational structure in place to grow in its role as a systems integrator and managed services provider.
Ed joined SPS with his company, Enabling Managed Services (EMS), a managed services consulting firm. Prior to running EMS, Ed spent six years as vice president of managed services for Avaya, where he grew the managed services business with an innovative private cloud outsourcing model. Ed also led the managed network solutions business at AT&T and worked in the information network division of IBM’s managed services business. From 1999 to 2006, he was CEO of AimNet Solutions, an independent managed services company, which he developed into an industry-leading remote managed services provider and sold to Cognizant. Ed is the author of “The Managed Services Playbook: A Guide to Running Successful Managed Services and Cloud Businesses" and a founding member of the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) Managed Services Advisory Board. He received his B.A. in economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
